عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ سَلِمَةَ قَالَ:
قَدِمَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَفْدُ جَرْمٍ، فَأَمَرَ عَمْرَو بْنَ سَلِمَةَ أَنْ يَؤُمَّهُمْ، وَكَانَ أَصْغَرَهُمْ سِنًّا، لِأَنَّهُ كَانَ أَكْثَرَهُمْ قُرْآنًا
Translation
✧ A delegation of Jarm came to the Prophet ﷺ, and he ordered Amr b. Salimah to lead them in prayer. He was the youngest of them in age, because he had memorized the most Quran among them.
