عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ قَالَ:
خَطَبَ الْحَجَّاجُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ فَأَخَّرَ الصَّلَاةَ، فَأَرَادَ إِنْسَانٌ أَنْ يَثِبَ إِلَيْهِ، وَيَحْبِسُهُ النَّاسُ
Translation
✧ Al-Hajjaj delivered the khutbah on Friday and delayed the prayer, so a man wanted to leap at him, and the people restrained him.
