✧ The rulers who delay the prayer

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ خُثَيْمٍ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ:
كَيْفَ بِكَ يَا أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ إِذَا كَانَ عَلَيْكَ أُمَرَاءُ يُطْفُونَ السُّنَّةَ، وَيُؤَخِّرُونَ الصَّلَاةَ عَنْ مِيقَاتِهَا ؟ قَالَ: فَكَيْفَ تَأْمُرُنِي يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ؟ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: " تَسْأَلُنِي ابْنَ أُمِّ عَبْدٍ كَيْفَ تَفْعَلُ لَا طَاعَةَ لِمَخْلُوقٍ فِي مَعْصِيَةِ اللهِ
Translation
✧ How will it be for you, O Abu 'Abd al-Rahman, when there are rulers over you who extinguish the Sunnah and delay the prayer beyond its time? He said: So what do you command me, O Messenger of Allah? The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "You ask me, Ibn Umm 'Abd, how to act? There is no obedience to a creature in disobedience to God."
