✧ The rulers who delay the prayer

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي عَاصِمُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَامِرِ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ:
إِنَّهُ سَتَكُونُ أُمَرَاءُ بَعْدِي، يُصَلُّونَ الصَّلَاةَ لِوَقْتِهَا، وَيُؤَخِّرُونَ عَنْ وَقْتِهَا، فَصَلُّوهَا مَعَهُمْ، فَإِنْ صَلَّوْهَا لِوَقْتِهَا وَصَلَّيْتُمُوهَا مَعَهُمْ فَلَكُمْ وَلَهُمْ، وَإِنْ أَخَّرُوهَا عَنْ وَقْتِهَا فَصَلَّيْتُمُوهَا مَعَهُمْ فَلَكُمْ وَعَلَيْهِمْ، مَنْ فَارَقَ الْجَمَاعَةَ مَاتَ مِيتَةً جَاهِلِيَّةً، وَمَنْ نَكَثَ الْعَهْدَ فَمَاتَ نَاكِثًا لِعَهْدِهِ جَاءَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ لَا حُجَّةَ لَهُ
Translation
✧ There will be rulers after me who will pray the prayer at its time and delay it from its time. Pray it with them. If they pray it at its time and you pray it with them, then you and they have the reward. If they delay it from its time and you pray it with them, then you have the reward and they bear the sin. Whoever separates from the congregation dies a death of ignorance. Whoever breaks the covenant and dies having broken his covenant will come on the Day of Resurrection with no argument.
