✧ The imam's shortening of the prayer

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، وَيُونُسَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ:
مَنْ أَمَّ النَّاسَ فَلْيُقَدِّرِ الْقَوْمَ بِأَضْعَفِهِمْ، فَإِنَّ فِيهِمُ الضَّعِيفَ، وَالْكَبِيرَ، وَذَا الْحَاجَةِ
Translation
✧ Whoever leads the people in prayer should consider the weakest among them, for among them are the weak, the elderly, and the one with a need.
