عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ:
سَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ إِمَامِ قَوْمٍ أَصَابَتْهُ جَنَابَةٌ فَلَمْ يَجِدْ مَاءً يَتَوَضَّأُ بِهِ ؟ قَالَ: " يَتَيَمَّمُ وَيَتَقَدَّمُ فَيُصَلِّي بِهِمْ، فَإِنَّ اللهَ قَدْ طَهَّرَهُ
Translation

✧ I asked him about the imam of a people who is struck by janābah and finds no water for purification. He said: “He performs tayammum and advances to lead them in prayer, for God has purified him.”
