عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ دِينَارٍ أَنَّ طَاوُسًا أَخْبَرَهُ
أَنَّ ابْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ قَامَ فِي رَكْعَتَيْنِ مِنَ الْمَغْرِبِ - أَوْ أَرَادَ الْقِيَامَ - قَالَ: مَا رَأَيْتُ طَاوُسًا إِلَّا شَكَّ أَيَّهُمَا فَعَلَ ؟ نَهَضَ أَوْ أَرَادَ النُّهُوضَ - ثُمَّ سَجَدَ سَجْدَتَيْنِ وَهُوَ جَالِسٌ قَالَ: فَذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لِابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: فَقَالَ: " أَصَابَ لَعَمْرِي " قُلْتُ: وَأَخْبَرَكَ أَنَّهُ سَجَدَهَا قَبْلَ التَّسْلِيمِ أَوْ بَعْدُ ؟ قَالَ: " لَا أَدْرِي
Translation
✧ Ibn al-Zubayr stood up after two rak'ahs of Maghrib—or intended to stand. He said: I only recall Tawus being uncertain which he did: he rose or intended to rise—then he performed two prostrations while seated. He said: I mentioned that to Ibn 'Abbas, and he said: 'He did right, by my life.' I said: And did he inform you that he prostrated before the taslim or after it? He said: 'I do not know.'
