✧ Forgetfulness in prayer

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ وَالْحَسَنِ
فِي الزِّيَادَةِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ: " يَسْجُدُ سَجْدَتَيْنِ لِلسَّهْوِ، وَإِذَا لَمْ يَذْكُرْ كَمْ صَلَّى بَنَى عَلَى أَتَمِّ ذَلِكَ فِي نَفْسِهِ، وَسَجَدَ سَجْدَتَيِ السَّهْوِ
Translation
✧ Concerning addition in prayer: 'He prostrates two prostrations for forgetfulness, and if he does not remember how many he prayed, he builds upon the more complete of that in his own mind, and prostrates the two prostrations of forgetfulness.'
