✧ The imam's forgetfulness and the taslim in the two prostrations of forgetfulness

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ، عَنِ ابْنِ بُحَيْنَةَ الْأَسْدِيِّ - حَلِيفِ بَنِي عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ -
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَامَ فِي الظُّهْرِ وَعَلَيْهِ جُلُوسٌ، فَلَمَّا أَتَمَّ صَلَاتَهُ سَجَدَ سَجْدَتَيْنِ وَهُوَ جَالِسٌ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُسَلِّمَ، كَبَّرَ فِي كُلِّ سَجْدَةٍ، وَسَجَدَهُمَا النَّاسُ مَعَهُ مَكَانَ مَا نَسِيَ مِنَ الْجُلُوسِ
Translation
✧ The Prophet ﷺ stood up in Zuhr while he was supposed to sit. When he completed his prayer, he prostrated two prostrations while sitting before saying the taslim. He said the takbir in every prostration, and the people prostrated them with him in place of the sitting that he had forgotten.
