✧ One who enters the mosque when its people have already prayed — may he offer voluntary prayer

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ قَالَ:
كَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ إِذَا انْتَهَى إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ وَقَدْ صُلِّيَ فِيهِ بَدَأَ بِالْفَرِيضَةِ
Translation
✧ When Ibn Umar came to the mosque and prayer had already been performed in it, he began with the obligatory prayer.
