Translation
✧ Anas b. Malik passed by us, and with him were companions, about ten in number, and we had prayed the morning prayer. He said: 'Have you prayed?' We said: 'Yes.' He said: Then he ordered one of them, and he called the adhan, and he prayed two rak'ahs. Then he ordered him, and he called the iqamah. Then Anas went forward and prayed two rak'ahs with his companions. Then he departed, and they had placed for him a cushion and a pillow. He narrated to us, and among what he narrated to us, he said: 'My mother, Umm Sulaym, came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said: O Messenger of Allah, may my mother and father be your ransom, O Messenger of Allah, if only you would supplicate for him.' He said: 'I have supplicated for him with three supplications. I have seen two of them, and I hope for the third.'
