✧ Walking to the prayer

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ قَالَ:
مَنْ أَقْبَلَ يَشْهَدُ فِي الصَّلَاةِ فَأُقِيمَتْ وَهُوَ فِي الطَّرِيقِ، فَلَا يُسْرِعْ، وَلَا يَزِدْ عَلَى مِشْيَتِهِ الْأُولَى، فَمَا أَدْرَكَ فَلْيُصَلِّ مَعَ الْإِمَامِ، وَمَا لَمْ يُدْرِكْ فَلْيُتِمَّهُ
Translation
✧ Whoever sets out to attend the prayer, and the iqamah is called while he is on the road, let him not hurry, nor increase beyond his initial walking pace. What he catches, let him pray with the imam; and what he does not catch, let him complete it.
