✧ Whoever enters while the imam is bowing and bows before reaching the row

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ قَالَ:
إِذَا دَخَلْتَ وَالْإِمَامُ رَاكِعٌ فَارْكَعْ قَبْلَ أَنْ تُخَلِّفَ النِّسَاءَ، ثُمَّ امْشِ رَاكِعًا، فَإِذَا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ فَارْفَعْ، ثُمَّ اسْجُدْ حَيْثُ يُدْرِكُكَ السَّجْدَةَ "، قَالَهُ غَيْرَ مَرَّةٍ قَالَ: قُلْتُ لَهُ سَجَدْتُ فَكَانَتْ لِلْإِمَامِ مَثْنًى. قَالَ: " فَاجْلِسْ مَكَانَكَ، فَإِذَا قَامَ فَاصْفُفْ مَعَ النَّاسِ، فَإِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ مَثْنًى، فَإِذَا سَجَدْتَ فَقُمْ فَاصْفُفْ مَعَ النَّاسِ
Translation
✧ When you enter and the imam is bowing, bow before you pass behind the women, then walk while bowing. When he raises his head, raise yours, then prostrate wherever the prostration catches you." He said this more than once. He said: I said to him, I prostrated, and it happened in the imam's even-numbered prostration. He said: "Then remain seated where you are, and when he stands, line up with the people. If it was not even-numbered for him, then when you prostrate, stand and line up with the people.
