✧ Whoever catches a rak'ah or a sajdah

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ... عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، قَالَ:
إِذَا رَكَعْتَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَرْفَعَ الْإِمَامُ رَأْسَهُ فَقَدْ أَدْرَكْتَ، فَإِنْ رَفَعَ قَبْلَ أَنْ تَرْكَعَ فَقَدْ فَاتَتْكَ، فَإِنْ أَدْرَكْتَهُ سَاجِدًا فَاسْجُدْ، وَجَالِسًا يَتَشَهَّدُ فَاجْلِسْ وَتَشَهَّدْ، وَلَا تَعْتَدَّ بِذَلِكَ
Translation
✧ If you bow before the imam raises his head, you have caught it; but if he raises his head before you bow, you have missed it. If you catch him prostrating, then prostrate; and if he is sitting for the tashahhud, then sit and recite the tashahhud, but do not count that.
