Translation
✧ A man entered the mosque while the Prophet ﷺ was in prayer, and he heard the sound of his sandals. When he finished, he said, 'In what state did you find us?' He said, 'Prostrating, so I prostrated.' He said, 'Do likewise, and do not count the prostration unless you catch the rak'ah. If you find the imam standing, then stand; or sitting, then sit; or bowing, then bow; or prostrating, then prostrate; or sitting, then sit.'
