عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ:
قَالَ إِنْسَانٌ لِعَطَاءٍ: يَأْتِينِي إِنْسَانٌ وَأَنَا فِي الْمَكْتُوبَةِ فَيُخْبِرُنِي الْخَبَرَ فَأَسْتَمِعُ إِلَيْهِ قَالَ: " مَا أُحِبُّهُ، حَتَّى أَنْ يَكُونَ سَهْوًا، إِنَّمَا هِيَ الْمَكْتُوبَةُ، فَتَفَرَّغْ لَهَا حَتَّى تَفْرُغَ مِنْهَا
Translation
Chain of narrators
machine translationʿAbd al-Razzāq, from Ibn Jurayj, who said:
✧ He said: A person said to 'Ata': A person comes to me while I am in the prescribed prayer and tells me some news, and I listen to him. He said: 'I do not like that, unless it happens absentmindedly. It is only the prescribed prayer, so devote yourself to it until you finish it.'
