✧ Turning around during the prayer

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ:
قُلْتُ لِعَطَاءٍ: أُبْصِرُ عَنْ يَمِينِي وَعَنْ شِمَالِي فِي الصَّلَاةِ ؟ قَالَ: " لَا، إِلَّا أَنْ تُقِيمَ صَفًّا، أَوْ تَطْمَحَ بِبَصَرِكَ أَمَامَكَ، وَجَاهِدْ أَنْ لَا تَحْفَظَهُ، وَلَا تَطْمَحْ بِهِ هَاهُنَا وَلَا هَاهُنَا، إِنَّمَا الصَّلَاةُ تَخَشُّعٌ وَخُشُوعٌ لِلهِ ".
Translation
✧ I said to Ata: 'I look to my right and to my left during the prayer?' He said: 'No, unless you straighten a row, or you cast your gaze straight ahead, and strive not to guard it, and do not cast it here or there. Prayer is humility and submissiveness to God.'
