✧ How a man departs from his place of prayer

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ قَالَ:

كَانَ ابْنُ مَسْعُودٍ إِذَا كَانَتْ حَاجَتُهُ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ انْصَرَفَ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ، وَإِذَا كَانَتْ حَاجَتُهُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ انْصَرَفَ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ

Translation

✧ Ibn Mas'ud, when his need was to his left, would depart to his left, and when his need was to his right, he would depart to his right.
