machine translationʿAbd al-Razzāq, from Ibn Jurayj, who said:
✧ I said to 'Ata': The number of glorifications, takbirs, and praises after the prescribed prayer that you mentioned—is that more beloved to you, or should we add to it? He said: "Yes." He said: I said: Is it more beloved to you not to stand until you finish your glorifications? He said: "Yes." I said: Why? He said: "Because they say: The angels do not cease to pray for a person as long as he does not rise from his place of prayer in which he prayed, as long as he does not invalidate his ablution." He said: "And I love for that to be at the end of the prescribed prayer." I said: Do you deem it desirable not to speak until you finish it? He said: "Yes, by Allah, but they do not let us."
