✧ When Does a Man Stand to Make Up What He Missed When the Imam Gives the Taslim

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هَارُونَ الْعَبْدِيِّ قَالَ:
صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ أَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ رَكْعَةً مِنَ الصُّبْحِ، فَلَمَّا سَلَّمَ الْإِمَامُ قُمْتُ لِأَقْضِيَ رَكْعَتِي فَجَذَبُونِي، فَذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لِأَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، فَقَالَ: " كَذَلِكَ كَانُوا يَفْعَلُونَ، وَلَكِنَّهُمْ خَافُوا السَّيْفَ
Translation
✧ I prayed one rak'ah of Fajr with the people of Madinah, and when the imam gave the taslim I stood up to make up my rak'ah, but they pulled me back. I mentioned that to Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, and he said: "That is what they used to do, but they feared the sword."
