عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ:
قُلْتُ لِعَطَاءٍ: أَرَأَيْتَ إِنْ مَكَثَ قَلِيلًا لَا أَرُدُّ عَلَى الْإِمَامِ حَتَّى أَفْرُغَ مِنْ حَاجَتِي أَعَلَيَّ بَأْسٌ ؟ قَالَ: " لَا "، قُلْتُ: رَأَيْتُكَ تَفْعَلُهُ قَالَ: " أَجَلْ، مَا أَرُدُّ عَلَيْهِ حَتَّى يَكُونَ مَعَ التَّسْلِيمِ الِانْصِرَافُ " قَالَ: " لَا يَضُرُّكَ أَيُّ ذَلِكَ فَعَلْتَ سَوَاءٌ ذَلِكَ "، قَالَ ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ: قَالَ: قُلْتُ لِعَطَاءٍ: أَرَأَيْتَ إِذَا سَلَّمَ عَلَيَّ الَّذِي عَلَى شِقِّي أَجْعَلُهُ التَّسْلِيمَ مِنِّي عَلَى الِانْصِرَافِ، وَأَرُدُّ عَلَيْهِ سَلَامَهُ جَمِيعًا، أَمْ أَرُدُّهُ عَلَيْهِ، ثُمَّ أُسَلِّمُ بَعْدَ تَسْلِيمِ الِانْصِرَافِ ؟ قَالَ: " لَا يَضُرُّكَ أَيُّ ذَاكَ فَعَلْتَ، سَوَاءٌ ذَلِكَ " قَالَ ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ: وَرَأَيْتُهُ يَفْعَلُ كُلَّ ذَلِكَ
Translation

machine translationʿAbd al-Razzāq, from Ibn Jurayj, who said:
✧ I said to 'Ata': 'What if I delay a little and do not respond to the imam until I finish my need? Is there any harm?' He said: 'No.' I said: 'I saw you do that.' He said: 'Yes, I do not respond to him until the departure is with the taslim.' He said: 'Whichever you do, it does not harm you; it is all the same.' Ibn Jurayj said: I said to 'Ata': 'What if the one on my side greets me—should I make it my taslim of departure and respond to his greeting together, or respond to him and then say the taslim of departure after?' He said: 'Whichever you do, it does not harm you; it is all the same.' Ibn Jurayj said: 'And I saw him do all of that.'
