عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، وَالثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ حَمَّادٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الضُّحَى، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ:
مَا نَسِيتُ فِيمَا نَسِيتُ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ، أَنَّهُ كَانَ يُسَلِّمُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ حَتَّى نَرَى بَيَاضَ خَدِّهِ، وَعَنْ يَسَارِهِ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ حَتَّى نَرَى بَيَاضَ خَدِّهِ أَيْضًا
Translation
✧ What I have not forgotten, among what I have forgotten from the Messenger of God ﷺ, is that he would say the taslim to his right: 'Peace be upon you and the mercy of God,' until we could see the whiteness of his cheek, and to his left: 'Peace be upon you and the mercy of God,' until we could see the whiteness of his cheek as well.
