✧ Whoever Forgets the Tashahhud

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ قَالَ:
لَا صَلَاةَ مَكْتُوبَةً وَلَا تَطَوُّعَ إِلَّا بِتَشَهُّدٍ "، قُلْتُ: فَنَسِيتُ التَّشَهُّدَ فِي الصُّبْحِ قَالَ: " لَا تُعِدْ وَلَا تَسْجُدْ سَجْدَتَيِ السَّهْوِ وَتَشَهَّدْ حِينَ تَذْكُرُ ".
Translation

machine translationʿAbd al-Razzāq, from Ibn Jurayj, from ʿAṭāʾ, who said:
✧ No prescribed prayer nor voluntary prayer is valid without a tashahhud.” I said: What if I forgot the tashahhud in the dawn prayer? He said: “Do not repeat it, and do not prostrate the two prostrations of forgetfulness; perform the tashahhud when you remember.”
