✧ Squatting (Iq'a) in the Prayer

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ وَابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ حُصَيْنٍ، عَنْ هَيْثَمِ بْنِ شِهَابٍ قَالَ: قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ:
لَأَنْ أَجْلِسَ عَلَى رَضْفَيْنِ خَيْرٌ مِنْ أَنْ أَجْلِسَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ مُتَرَبِّعًا
Translation
✧ Sitting on two embers is better for me than sitting cross-legged in the prayer.
