✧ What He Says When He Raises His Head from Bowing

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: قُلْتُ:
أَرَأَيْتَ إِنْ لَمْ يُسْمِعْنِي الْإِمَامُ قَوْلَهُ سَمِعَ اللهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ ؟ قَالَ: " قُلْ مِثْلَ مَا يَقُولُ إِذَا سَمِعَكَ قَالَ: " وَيُحَمِّدُ الْإِمَامُ إِذَا قَالَ: سَمِعَ اللهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ وَالْمَرْءُ يُصَلِّي لِنَفْسِهِ فَيُحَمِّدَانِ وَهُمَا مُنْتَصِبَانِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَسْجُدَا، فَإِنَّهُ يُؤْمَرُ بِالْحَمْدِ الْإِمَامُ وَغَيْرُهُ إِذَا قَالَ: سَمِعَ اللهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ، وَيَقُولُ مَنْ وَرَاءَ الْإِمَامِ مَا قَدْ كَتَبْتُ
Translation
✧ He said: "What do you think if the imam does not make me hear his saying 'Allah hears the one who praises Him'?" He said: "Say the like of what he says when you hear him." He said: "And the imam praises when he says 'Allah hears the one who praises Him,' and the person praying alone praises; and they both praise while standing upright before prostrating. For the imam and others are commanded to praise when he says 'Allah hears the one who praises Him.' And whoever is behind the imam says what I have written."
