Translation
✧ ʿAlī used to say when he bowed: 'O Allah, to You I have humbled myself, to You I have bowed, to You I have submitted, in You I have believed, and You are my Lord. My hearing, my sight, my flesh, my blood, my marrow, my bones, my sinews, my hair, and my skin have humbled themselves to You. Glory be to Allah, glory be to Allah, glory be to Allah.' And when he said: 'Allah hears the one who praises Him,' he said: 'O Allah, our Lord, to You be praise.' And when he prostrated, he said: 'O Allah, to You I have prostrated, to You I have submitted, in You I have believed, upon You I have relied, and You are my Lord. My hearing, my sight, my flesh, my blood, my bones, my sinews, my hair, and my skin have prostrated to You. Glory be to Allah, glory be to Allah, glory be to Allah.'
