عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ قَالَ:
يُجْزِي قِرَاءَةُ الْإِمَامِ عَمَّنْ وَرَاءَهُ قُلْتُ: عَمَّنْ تَأْثُرُهُ ؟ قَالَ: " سَمِعْتُهُ، وَلَكِنَّ الْفَضَائِلَ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ أَنْ تَأْخُذُوا بِهَا، أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ أَنْ تَقْرَؤُوا مَعَهُ
Translation

machine translationʿAbd al-Razzāq, from Ibn Jurayj, from ʿAṭāʾ, who said:
✧ The imam's recitation suffices for those behind him. I said, "From whom do you report this?" He said, "I heard it, but I prefer that you adopt the virtuous practices; I prefer that you recite along with him."
