عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، أَوْ غَيْرِهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ خُثَيْمٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ قَالَ:
لَا بُدَّ مِنْ أُمِّ الْقُرْآنِ، وَلَكِنْ مَنْ مَضَى كَانُوا إِذَا كَبَّرَ الْإِمَامُ سَكَتَ سَاعَةً لَا يَقْرَأُ قَدْرَ مَا يَقْرَؤُونَ بِأُمِّ الْقُرْآنِ
Translation
✧ It is necessary to recite the Opening of the Book, but those who came before, when the imam said the takbir, he was silent for a while, not reciting, long enough for them to recite the Opening of the Book.
