✧ A Well into Which an Animal Falls

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ قَالَ:
سَأَلْتُ الزُّهْرِيَّ، عَنْ فَأْرَةٍ وَقَعَتْ فِي الْبِئْرِ فَقَالَ: إِنْ أُخْرِجَتْ مَكَانَهَا فَلَا بَأْسَ وَإِنْ مَاتَتْ فِيهَا نُزِحَتْ
Translation
✧ I asked al-Zuhri about a mouse that fell into a well. He said: If it is taken out immediately, there is no harm; but if it dies in it, it should be drained.
