✧ A Well into Which an Animal Falls

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي مَنْ سَمِعَ الْحَسَنَ يَقُولُ:

إِذَا مَاتَتِ الدَّابَّةُ فِي الْبِئْرِ أُخِذَ مِنْهَا، وَإِنْ تَفَسَّخَتْ فِيهَا نُزِحَتْ.

Translation

✧ If an animal dies in a well, water is taken from it; but if it disintegrates in it, it should be drained.
