machine translationʿAbd al-Razzāq, from Ibn Jurayj, who said:
✧ I said to 'Ata': "Consider if I enter before the prayer and begin, seeking refuge, and recite until the prayer is established. Should I seek refuge for the obligatory prayer as well? Then I finish the obligatory prayer, and afterward I pray again—should I seek refuge also?" He said: "The first seeking of refuge suffices you, but if you seek refuge for each one, that is good."
