عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ:
قُلْتُ لِعَطَاءٍ: نُكَبِّرُ فِي التَّطَوُّعِ مِثْلَ مَا نُكَبِّرُ فِي الْمَكْتُوبَةِ ؟ قَالَ: " نَعَمِ، اجْعَلِ التَّطَوُّعَ مِثْلَ الْمَكْتُوبَةِ إِنِ اسْتَطَعْتَ فِي كُلِّ ذَلِكَ، إِنَّمَا هُوَ شَيْءٌ تُرِيدُ وَجْهَ اللهِ، وَالدَّارَ الْآخِرَةَ ".
Translation

machine translationʿAbd al-Razzāq, from Ibn Jurayj, who said:
✧ I said to 'Ata': 'Should we say the takbir in voluntary prayer just as we say it in the obligatory prayer?' He said: 'Yes, make the voluntary like the obligatory if you are able in all of that. It is only something by which you seek the face of God and the Hereafter.'
