عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ هَانِئٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ مَحْمُودٍ قَالَ:
كُنْتُ مَعَ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، فَوَقَفْنَا بَيْنَ السَّوَارِي، فَتَأَخَّرْنَا، فَلَمَّا صَلَّيْنَا، قَالَ أَنَسٌ: " إِنَّا كُنَّا نَتَّقِي هَذَا عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ "
Translation
✧ I was with Anas b. Malik, and we stood between the pillars, so we moved back. When we had prayed, Anas said: “We used to avoid this in the time of the Messenger of God ﷺ.”
