عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ وَابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ مَعْدِيكَرِبَ الْهَمْدَانِيِّ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ يَقُولُ:
لَا تَصْطَفُّوا بَيْنَ الْأَسَاطِينِ، وَلَا تُصَلِّ وَبَيْنَ يَدَيْكَ قَوْمٌ يَمْتَرُونَ - أَوْ قَالَ: يَلْغُونَ
Translation
✧ Do not form rows between the pillars, and do not pray while before you there are people disputing — or he said: engaging in idle talk.
