عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ قَيْسٍ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ:
بَيْنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيُّ يُصَلِّي إِذْ جَاءَهُ شَابٌّ يُرِيدُ أَنْ يَمُرَّ قَرِيبًا مِنْ سُتْرَتِهِ، وَأَمِيرُ الْمَدِينَةِ يَوْمَئِذٍ مَرْوَانُ قَالَ: فَدَفَعَهُ أَبُو سَعِيدٍ حَتَّى صَرَعَهُ قَالَ: فَذَهَبَ الْفَتَى حَتَّى دَخَلَ عَلَى مَرْوَانَ، فَقَالَ: هَاهُنَا شَيْخٌ مَجْنُونٌ دَفَعَنِي حَتَّى صَرَعَنِي قَالَ: هَلْ تَعْرِفُهُ ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ قَالَ: وَكَانَتِ الْأَنْصَارُ تَدْخُلُ عَلَيْهِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ قَالَ: فَدَخَلَ عَلَيْهِ أَبُو سَعِيدٍ، فَقَالَ مَرْوَانُ لِلْفَتَى: هَلْ تَعْرِفُهُ ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ، هُوَ هَذَا الشَّيْخُ ؟ قَالَ مَرْوَانُ لِلْفَتَى: أَتَعْرِفُ مَنْ هَذَا ؟ قَالَ: لَا. قَالَ: هَذَا صَاحِبُ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ: فَرَحَّبَ بِهِ مَرْوَانُ وَأَدْنَاهُ حَتَّى قَعَدَ قَرِيبًا مِنْ مَجْلِسِهِ، فَقَالَ لَهُ: إِنَّ هَذَا الْفَتَى يَذْكُرُ أَنَّكَ دَفَعْتَهُ حَتَّى صَرَعْتَهُ قَالَ: مَا فَعَلْتُ ؟ فَرَدَّهَا عَلَيْهِ، وَهُوَ يَقُولُ: إِنَّمَا دَفَعْتُ شَيْطَانًا قَالَ: ثُمَّ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ: إِذَا أَرَادَ أَحَدٌ أَنْ يَمُرَّ بَيْنَ يَدَيْكَ وَبَيْنَ سُتْرَتِكَ فَرُدَّهُ، فَإِنْ أَبَى فَادْفَعْهُ، فَإِنْ أَبَى فَقَاتِلْهُ فَإِنَّمَا هُوَ شَيْطَانٌ "
Translation
✧ While Abu Said al-Khudri was praying, a young man came wanting to pass close to his screen, and the governor of Madinah at that time was Marwan. He said: Abu Said pushed him until he knocked him down. He said: The young man went until he entered upon Marwan and said: Here is a crazy old man who pushed me until he knocked me down. He said: Do you know him? He said: Yes. He said: The Ansar used to enter upon him on Friday. He said: Abu Said entered upon him, and Marwan said to the young man: Do you know him? He said: Yes, is it this old man? Marwan said to the young man: Do you know who this is? He said: No. He said: This is a companion of the Messenger of God ﷺ. He said: Marwan welcomed him and brought him near until he sat close to his seat. Then he said to him: This young man claims that you pushed him until you knocked him down. He said: What did I do? He repeated it to him, and he said: I only pushed a devil. He said: Then he said: I heard the Messenger of God ﷺ say: "If one of you wants to pass between you and your screen, push him back. If he refuses, shove him. If he refuses, fight him, for he is only a devil."
