✧ The Imam's Screen Is a Screen for Those Behind Him

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَمَّنْ سَمِعَ الْحَسَنَ يَقُولُ:
صَلَّى الْحَكَمُ الْغِفَارِيُّ بِأَصْحَابِهِ وَقَدْ رَكَزَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ رُمْحًا، فَمَرَّ بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ كَلْبٌ أَوْ حِمَارٌ، فَانْصَرَفَ إِلَى أَصْحَابِهِ، فَقَالَ: أَمَا إِنَّهُ لَمْ يَقْطَعْ صَلَاتِي، وَلَكِنَّهُ قَطَعَ صَلَاتَكُمْ " فَأَعَادَ بِهِمُ الصَّلَاةَ
Translation
✧ Al-Hakam al-Ghifari prayed with his companions, having planted a spear in front of him, and a dog or a donkey passed in front of them. He turned to his companions and said: "Indeed, it did not cut off my prayer, but it cut off your prayer." Then he repeated the prayer with them.
