✧ The Imam's Screen Is a Screen for Those Behind Him

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ وَابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ قَالَ:
إِنْ كَانَ عُمَرُ رُبَّمَا يَرْكُزُ الْعَنَزَةَ فَيُصَلِّي إِلَيْهَا، وَالظَّعَائِنُ يَمْرُرْنَ أَمَامَهُ
Translation
✧ Umar would sometimes plant the spear and pray facing it while women in howdahs passed in front of him.
