✧ The Extent of What Screens the Worshipper

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ:
صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِلَى بَعِيرٍ، ثُمَّ أَخَذَ شَعَرَةً مِنْ ذُرْوَةِ سَنَامِهِ، فَقَالَ: إِنَّهُ لَا يَحِلُّ مِمَّا أَفَاءَ اللهُ عَلَيْكُمْ مِثْلُ هَذِهِ الشَّعَرَاتِ إِلَّا الْخُمُسُ، ثُمَّ هُوَ مَرْدُودٌ عَلَيْكُمْ
Translation
✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed toward a camel, then he took a hair from the top of its hump and said: 'Nothing of what Allah has granted you as spoils is lawful except the khums, and even the like of these hairs is returned to you.'
