✧ Whoever Forgets a Prayer or Sleeps Through It

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي سَعْدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ قَالَ:
نَامَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَلَمْ يَسْتَيْقِظْ إِلَّا لِحَرِّ الشَّمْسِ فَسَارَ حَتَّى جَازَ الْوَادِيَ، وَقَالَ: لَا نُصَلِّي حَيْثُ أَنْسَانَا الشَّيْطَانُ قَالَ: فَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ، وَأَمَرَ بِلَالًا فَأَذَّنَ، وَأَقَامَ فَصَلَّى
Translation
✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ slept and did not wake except due to the heat of the sun. Then he traveled until he crossed the valley and said, “We shall not pray where Satan made us forget.” He said, “So he prayed two rak‘ahs, and commanded Bilal to give the call to prayer, and he gave the iqamah and prayed.”
