Translation
✧ We prayed the morning prayer with Ibn Mas'ud, and we began turning around when we finished. He said: 'What is the matter with you?' We said: 'We think the sun is rising.' He said: 'This, by the One besides whom there is no god, is the time of this prayer: "Establish prayer at the declining of the sun to the darkness of the night" (Quran 17:78). This is the declining of the sun, and this is the darkness of the night.'
