✧ The Time of the Late Evening Prayer

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ رَاشِدٍ قَالَ:
خَرَجْنَا مَعَ مَكْحُولٍ إِلَى مَكَّةَ، قَالَ: فَكَانَ ثَوْرُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ يُؤَذِّنُ لَهُ، فَكَانَ يَأْمُرُهُ أَنْ لَا يُنَادِيَ بِالْعِشَاءِ حَتَّى تَذْهَبَ الْحُمْرَةُ وَيَقُولُ: هُوَ الشَّفَقُ
Translation
✧ We set out with Makhul to Makkah. He said: Thawr b. Yazid used to give the call to prayer for him, and he would command him not to call for isha until the red glow had gone, and he said: That is the twilight (shafaq).
