أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ
أَنَّ رَجُلًا قَالَ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ: إِنِّي لَأُحِبُّ الْجَمَالَ حَتَّى إِنِّي لَأُحِبُّهُ فِي شِرَاكِ نَعْلِي وَعِلَاقَةِ سَوْطِي، فَهَلْ تَخْشَى عَلَيَّ الْكِبْرَ ؟ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: " فَكَيْفَ تَجِدُ قَلْبَكَ ؟ "، قَالَ: عَارِفًا لِلْحَقِّ مُطْمَئِنًّا إِلَيْهِ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: لَيْسَ الْكِبْرُ هُنَالِكَ، وَلَكِنَّ الْكِبْرَ أَنْ تَغْمِطَ النَّاسَ، وَتَبْطَرَ الْحَقَّ
