✧ A man prays the morning prayer then sits in his place

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي حُمَيْدٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي حَازِمُ بْنُ تَمَّامٍ، عَنْ عَبَّاسِ بْنِ سَهْلٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ ثُمَّ السَّاعِدِيِّ، كَذَا قَالَ: عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَوْ جَدِّهِ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:
لَأَنْ أُصَلِّيَ الصُّبْحَ، ثُمَّ أَجْلِسَ فِي مَجْلِسِي فَأَذْكُرَ اللهَ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ، أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ شَدٍّ عَلَى جِيَادِ الْخَيْلِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ
Translation
✧ That I pray the morning prayer, then sit in my place remembering Allah until the sun rises, is dearer to me than raiding on fine horses in the path of Allah.
