عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ قَالَ:
لَأَنْ أُصَلِّيَ الْعِشَاءَ فِي جَمَاعَةٍ، أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ أَنْ أُحْيِيَ اللَّيْلَ كُلَّهُ
Translation
✧ That I pray the Isha in congregation is dearer to me than that I enliven the entire night (in worship).
