Translation
✧ Umar b. al-Khattab went out to the prayer and faced the people, then ordered the muezzin and he called the iqamah, and he said: We will not wait for anyone for our prayer. When he finished his prayer, he turned to the people and said: What is the matter with people whose staying behind causes others to stay behind? By Allah, I was about to send for them and have them brought by their necks, then it would be said: Attend the prayer.
