عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ شِهَابٍ:

أَنَّ النَّاسَ كَانُوا سَاعَةَ يَقُولُ الْمُؤَذِّنُ: اللهُ أَكْبَرُ، اللهُ أَكْبَرُ، يُقِيمُ الصَّلَاةَ، يَقُومُ النَّاسُ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ، فَلَا يَأْتِي النَّبِيُّ ﷺ مَقَامَهُ حَتَّى يُعَدِّلَ الصُّفُوفَ

Translation

✧ The people, when the muezzin said, 'Allahu akbar, Allahu akbar,' would stand for the prayer. The Prophet ﷺ would not come to his place until the rows were straightened.
