عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: قَالَ عَطَاءٌ:
فَلَيْسَ لِأَحَدٍ مِنْ خَلْقِ اللهِ فِي الْحَضَرِ وَالْقَرْيَةِ رُخْصَةٌ فِي أَنْ يَدَعَ، قُلْتُ: وَإِنْ كَانَ عَلَى بَزٍّ لَهُ يَبِيعُهُ يَفْرَقُ إِنْ قَامَ عَنْهُ أَنْ يَضِيعَ قَالَ: وَأَنْ لَا رُخْصَةَ لَهُ فِي ذَلِكَ، قُلْتُ: إِنْ كَانَ بِهِ رَمَدٌ وَمَرَضٌ غَيْرُ حَابِسٍ أَوْ يَشْتَكِي يَدَيْهِ ؟ قَالَ: أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ أَنْ يَتَكَلَّفَ.
Translation
✧ There is no concession for anyone among God's creation in the city or the village to abandon it. I said: "Even if he has goods that he is selling and he fears that if he leaves them they will be lost?" He said: "And there is no concession for him in that." I said: "If he has ophthalmia or an illness that does not confine him, or he complains of pain in his hands?" He said: "It is more beloved to me that he should make the effort."
