✧ The adhan in the desert

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ قَالَ:
وَمَنْ كَانَ مِنْ أَهْلِ قَرْيَةٍ غَيْرِ جَامِعَةٍ فَلَهُمْ أَذَانٌ وَإِقَامَةٌ لِكُلِّ صَلَاةٍ، قُلْتُ: سَاكِنِي عَرَفَةَ كَمْ لَهُمْ ؟ قَالَ: أَذَانٌ وَإِقَامَةٌ لِكُلِّ صَلَاةٍ إِنْ كَانَ لَهُمْ إِمَامٌ يَجْمَعُهُمْ فَلَهُمْ أَذَانٌ وَإِقَامَةٌ لِكُلِّ صَلَاةٍ.
Translation
✧ Whoever belongs to a village that does not hold the Friday prayer, they should have an adhan and iqama for every prayer. I said: How about the residents of ‘Arafa? He said: They should have an adhan and iqama for every prayer; if they have an imam who gathers them, then they should have an adhan and iqama for every prayer.
