عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ أَبَانَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ:
بَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي مَسِيرٍ لَهُ سَمِعَ رَجُلًا يَقُولُ: اللهُ أَكْبَرُ، اللهُ أَكْبَرُ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: عَلَى الْفِطْرَةِ، عَلَى الْفِطْرَةِ هَذَا، فَقَالَ: أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: بَرِئَ مِنَ الشِّرْكِ هَذَا، فَقَالَ: أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللهِ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ هَذَا، فَقَالَ: حَيَّ عَلَى الصَّلَاةِ، حَيَّ عَلَى الْفَلَاحِ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: ظَهَرَ الْإِسْلَامُ - أَوْ قَالَ: الْإِيمَانُ -، وَرَبِّ الْكَعْبَةِ تَجِدُونَ هَذَا رَاعِيًا أَوْ صَاحِبَ صَيْدٍ، أَوْ رَجُلًا خَرَجَ مُتَبَدِّيًا مِنْ أَهْلِهِ قَالَ: فَابْتَدَرَ الْقَوْمُ لِيُخْبِرُوهُ بِالَّذِي سَمِعُوا فَوَجَدُوهُ رَجُلًا مِنْ أَسْلَمَ خَرَجَ مُتَبَدِّيًا مِنْ أَهْلِهِ
Translation
✧ While the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was on a journey, he heard a man saying: Allahu akbar, Allahu akbar. The Prophet ﷺ said: Upon the fitrah, upon the fitrah is this one. He said: Ash-hadu an la ilaha illa Allah. The Prophet ﷺ said: He is free from shirk, this one. He said: Ash-hadu anna Muhammadan rasul Allah. The Prophet ﷺ said: He has entered Paradise, this one. He said: Hayya 'ala al-salah, hayya 'ala al-falah. The Prophet ﷺ said: Islam—or he said: faith—has appeared. By the Lord of the Ka'bah, you will find this one to be a shepherd, or a hunter, or a man who went out from his family to live in the desert. The people hurried to inform him of what they heard and found him to be a man from Aslam who had gone out from his family to live in the desert.
