عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ ابْنِ الْحَنَفِيَّةِ قَالَ:

الْمُؤَذِّنُ الْمُحْتَسِبُ كَالشَّاهِرِ سَيْفَهُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ

Translation

✧ The mu'adhdhin who seeks reward is like the one who brandishes his sword in the way of Allah.
